All I Ate Today Was Vodka: Recent Works by artist Chelsea Hill (2014)

These are a series of drawings and mixed media works made by artist Chelsea Hill, a very peculiar and wistful set of works that invoke a series of characters. These dramatis personae embody traits of youth and old age, and express a feeling of melancholy while retaining a preternatural glow. Like ghosts these drawings reach into our being, and present us with a narrative that is both disturbing and adorable.
